HASSAN COMPOSER: My start was my participation in 1996 in the emission of the second Moroccan channel: Stars & Stars, and just after I started to get inspired to work on my first Album in collaboration with my friends from conservatory and which came to light after a slow path.

Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?


HASSAN COMPOSER: Music for me is not an industry it is rather and a soul a deep and divine message which I have the responsibility to transmit with sincerity.

Russell Leedy is a singer, songwriter and producer crafting songs in many genres of music including rock, soul, jazz, gospel and country. His first recordings were in California. He was produced by Canyon Crest Records and released 4 songs under their direction. Russell then traveled and lived in Miami, Florida for over 10 years. He formed a band and performed in many local Miami clubs Russell returned to Pennsylvania and continued to play music. He has spent many years playing clubs and entertainment venues in the Pennsylvania area. Kings of Carlisle, known as K O C, was formed with the late guitarist, Keith Behm in 2018. The pair were best friends and Keith played guitar on many of the songs. They published and released three songs on all music platforms and had hoped to produce the new album together. Rony: Artist On The Rise

Portland’s own, Rony is one of the most battle-tested rappers in the Pacific Northwest. The street lyricist is a real-life rapper. Moreover, he does not know how to talk about anything he has not seen or done himself. Rip City is not the easiest place to come up from. Therefore, everyone in the city has to hustle to ensure that they do not go without. From the outside looking in, fans believe that Amine is the Portland rapper to look up to. After talking with Rony and listening to interviews from his peers from the city, that is not totally true. There is an immense appreciation for those artists and what they have done, but they aren’t the most accurate description of what most residents go through day-to-day.

Rony was born on September 6, 1999, in Mission Viejo, California. He later moved to Portland in 2005, where he spent most of his early years. On June, 2020, Rony launched record label RRR Records. He later signed RichDolla503, a childhood friend. Rony is always down to connect his partners to opportunities because he knows they would do the same.

“Invincible” is one of my favorite joints off my soon-to-be-released EP with RRR Records. I instantly knew it was a banger as soon as I heard the beat. I already knew what the vibe was going to be. I feel like I have a good ear for what the people want.

How ‘Everybody Party’ by Posse Unit became the sound of the summer!

Currently being played on over 150 radio stations around the world, and going Top Ten on iTunes Pop chart in South Africa just last week, Ben Hill & Posse Unit are flying high after scoring the biggest hit of the summer ‘Everybody Party’. For songwriter Ben Hill, it’s a dream come true.

We caught up with him in the West London offices of his record company Trojan Donkey, to talk about how he accidentally stumbled upon a hit single.

How are you feeling?

‘I’m ok, I slept well. I can see. I can walk. I can hear. I always say, that if you’re not in the back of an ambulance, be thankful’.

How did Everybody Party get written?

‘I was at a friend’s house for dinner. He’s a great chef. One of the best in the whole of the West Country. Anyway, he was cooking this meal, but at the same time, he was playing me this new beat he had been working on. It sounded great! So then I put the keyboard part over it, but we need a really catchy chorus, and thankfully the next day the melody arrived in my head. It was supposed to be released last summer, but something called Covid-19 rocked up, and any party was over pretty quickly after that’.

Did you think it would ever get this big?

‘I thought it had a good chance, we just needed some radio play. Thankfully, it was picked up on some major FM radio stations in the US early on. And then it just took off. It is even being played in Chile! I never thought it would be heard beyond our back garden! I’m also very thankful that I know a producer called Nick Evans. He would make my snoring sound good! So, I am very lucky. I am blessed. I’m actually off to see him this week to work on the follow-up single ‘I Love What Ya Got’. I’m having a blast’!
