n.e.r.d. life by D’Vo inspires faith in The Codex, an Experimental Hip Hop Series

HOUSTON – “I’m not an entertainer; I am not trying to dance on stage or sing worldly music about materialistic things. I am just doing what I’m supposed to do. Having this voice comes with responsibility,” said D’Vo. “I’m just playing my role. By creating music in this selfless manner uplifting the creator and not the messenger, my pen is overflowing with music, melodies and possibilities I didn’t know existed.

n.e.r.d. life by D’Vo is an anonymous experimental hip hop and neo-soul artist who fuses hip hop, rap, jazz, R&B, and pop, as a realistic 3D character. As the creator of a hip-hop series, “The Codex,” D’Vo composes each track with his passion for serving God while offering messages of hope, peace, and love.

n.e.r.d. life by D’Vo is an acronym for Needing Enteral Redemption and Deliverance. This is a recurring theme within his musical projects where he affirms his purpose to show the world that God is the answer to all things.

“The Codex’ is slated to be a eleven-volume hip-hop series that focuses on God and getting into heaven. D’Vo’s latest Codex release is the third volume titled, “The Codex: Court Vision.”

But if you think that “The Codex” is boring and preachy – you are wrong. Packed with originality, several songs from “The Codex: Court Vision” were on the Top 20 DRT Indie Chart and continue to climb. The single “Destined For Greatness” features the Memphis Basketball Association in the music video and represents D’Vo’s mission. He drops lyrics of hope, perseverance, and determination with a haunting keyboard and jazzy trumpet, creating a calm vibe.

In true D’Vo style, “Destined For Greatness” is unconventional from its rhymes to flow. “Positive hip hop can be cool,” said D’Vo. “You can have feelings and heartbreak, but still know that God will get you through.”

“The Codex: I’ve Got Next” is the first volume where the foundation for D’Vo’s mission was laid. Proving he was not a one-and-done artist, volume two, “The Codex: Running The Point,” got the attention of music critics and fans. The album’s G-Funk styling and West Coast laidback vibes helped place five of its tracks on the 150 Global Digital Radio Tracker. “Swagger From My Father” and “Elavated Thinkin” also found a home in the DRT Independent Charts.

While some songs have animated videos, D’Vo is developing an animated series to star the 3D character image. With the help of Pixar technology, the animated series is sure to be a hit for all ages. Additionally, D’Vo is the voice of the soul-fusion funk band, Global Rhythm, and CEO of Element 11, Inc., his label where he writes, records, and produces music.

“I’m creating positivity. I won’t use the n-word. I won’t use any curse words,” he promised. “Every song I created has metaphors and similes about getting to heaven. It’s not the easiest to do sometimes, but that’s what makes it exciting.”

On a mission to share love and righteousness, D’Vo said, “We are at a point in life where we need to be prepared and get ready for bigger things. For years, we’ve said, ‘Jesus is coming.’ But how many people are getting ready?”

Finding the recipe for “cool” hip hop without explicit lyrics or sexual innuendos comes easy to D’Vo. He brings the swagger and talent while being a vessel for God. He is proof that faith-based hip hop is not nerdy or boring – it is cool, and fans cannot get enough.

Adam Roth (A.K.A. Broken Iris) has recently released his new single: “Mr. F**king Happy”

January 2022 – Some artists are natural-born storytellers. Regardless of the kind of music they play, they have a truly innate ability to create a genuine connection with their audience, creating spontaneous tracks that reflect their experiences, creativity, and ideas in a way that feels incredibly genuine and easy to relate to for people of all background. This is definitely the case of Adam Roth (also known as Broken Iris), an artist who recently dropped an exciting single titled “Mr. F**king Happy.”

As an artist, Adam has been developing a distinctive tone ever since he started making his own music. Interested in songwriting since he was only a child, he quickly transcended his influences and morphed his style into something that’s extremely personal and one-of-a-kind. Adams’ bond with his mother was always very strong, so much so that the moniker Broken Iris actually comes from his mom’s favorite flower, the Iris flower; highlighting a deeper connection with his personal and artistic roots alike. Firmly believing that the best art is that which carries some pain, the artist is all about creating honest and emotionally powerful music. This release is a perfect example of how Adam channels pain and feelings through music, not only to reflect on such things, but also to connect with other people on a more personal level. “Mr. F**king Happy” is musical storytelling at its best, but the sound of the production itself is quite remarkable as well, delivering many “ear candy” moments that make the song very special for the listeners.

This track should be right up your alley if you do enjoy the work of artists as diverse as Nine Inch Nails, Bosnian Rainbows, and Tool, only to mention a few. Not only is Adam a great songwriting, but the production of this release is actually top-notch as well, allowing the artist to immediately stand out for the detailed, crisp sound of this particular release. “Mr. F**king Happy” is a fantastic introduction to Adam and his work, and it won’t let you down if you are a fan of alternative rock music as a whole.

Find out more about Adam Roth (AKA Broken Iris), and listen to “Mr. F**king Happy”. This exciting new release is currently available on some of the very best digital music streaming services, and elsewhere on the Internet. https://open.spotify.com/album/7gH2ZgumVyOoRmfShfNNQ2

An anthem to empower your mind and soul. A Swedish song by Adam 888 about embracing the future, “burning paper” in a healthy way and walking forward in life with a clear focus. The music video is directed by Adam himself and is choreographed by Matilda Fleberg, who recently did a big camping for DIOR. Stream TheRealLonnie’s ‘3 FOR 3’ EP

Born in Wilmington, DE, a state little known for its ventures in Hip- Hop, TheRealLonnie embarked on his musical journey at only the age of 13 being heavily influenced by artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, and XXXTentacion. Playful with contrasting andante melodies and his vivace rhythmic flow, It’s safe to say this artist’s tempo is experimental and paradoxical, much like him. In his unique way of self-expression and experimentation, TheRealLonnie utilizes storytelling to provide his listeners with his perspectives while also bringing them to intriguing thoughts.

TheRealLonnie’s braggadocious voice yet humbling messages become evident in songs such as “Ntgnatakeitslow” and “CRYSTAL CITY”, In other songs like “Soul Of A Lost Traveller”, he once more demonstrates this interesting contradiction through themes of love, yet the devastation that can possibly lead to hate. These contradictions highlight just how human this artist is; further enforcing the idea of “I am good and I am bad”.

More than 9 months after the release of his debut video, TheRealLonnie has returned with his highly-anticipated follow-up EP, 3 FOR 3. Show casing his array of styles and creativity, TRL creates a boundary pushing project with only 2 guest appearances. lilskii and FREEBAND SWERVE both find a place at home holding their own respectfully on songs like ‘STRIP SHIT’ and ‘LMK’. The 3-song project (2 Bonus) is all new material from the Wilmington rapper.

R&B And Pop Latin Artist Melissa Calderón Wants You to ‘Just Imagine’ With Her New Single And Unique Sound

Refreshing is the very first word that comes to mind when you hear Colombian born singer Melissa Calderón. Compelling enough, Melissa fuses her soulful energy with her love for pop. Her newest song “Just Imagine” is sung in English and Spanish highlighting her ability to display biculturalism in her artistry. The song is filled with high vibrations and uptempo frequency. Melissa takes the subject of love and turns it into a fantasy to reflect on reality. In the lyrics she confronts her man to “imagine” what life would be like without her. This is her way of getting him to “come back to reality”, implying that her love is the best thing he ever had until he shattered it. Now Melissa is through with being with him and needs him to face reality.

Melissa sings with a gentle tone that is slightly airy and gradually builds into a strong belt at the chorus. While she expresses the emotions in her lyrics, Melissa hits her notes in an agile, yet rich soft and warm register. In Melissa’s words, “Just Imagine” talks about “a relationship that has gone wrong because one of the people involved just stopped putting effort into it.” It’s a message for people dealing with toxic relationships to come to terms to realize when it’s time to leave a person behind, it’s time because you deserve more. She wants everyone to see that when you finally realize what went wrong you’ll begin to see how much more you’re worth.

The infamous Harry Dennis Open’s Up About His New Album “The Antidote” and Spirituality

BB: First and foremost, are you spiritual?

HD: Yes, I am, and I believe and know that God has given me this gift to voice my beliefs

through poetry

and house music.

BB: How did you get introduced to House Music?

HD: Robert Williams, Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, and a close friend introduced me to Chip E, who at the time had put out singles like “Time to Jack” and “It’s House” help myself, Ron Hardy, Larry Heard, and Robert Owens create the house hit “Donnie,”

Who is your favorite house producer?

HD: Ron Trent, but I have many.

BB: How many singles do you have under your belt?

HD: I lost count, but I would say around 100 with remixes.

BB: Why didn’t you sign with the major labels?

HD: At the time, the major label wasn’t up on house music in the early ’80s.

BB:Word on the streets is you started a new label with Versus Zero Digital?

HD: Ronnie Mcpherson and I have a new label called Versus Zero Digital, and you can bet your bottom dollar that it will be a top contender label for years to come.

BB: What made you put the confidence in Ronnie Mcpherson and his Versus Zero Brand?

HD: Well, I have worked with many labels throughout my career, but this man never sleeps. He wears a lot of hats, but shit gets done. The man is super intelligent on the business side, and he knows how to get to the bag.

I know you are trying to keep it a secret, but when is the “The Antidote” record dropping? It was supposed to drop in December 2021, but we have since pushed the project back to sometime early in March 2022.

BB: You are from Chicago, Harry; why didn’t you approach DJ International with the “The Antidote” record?

HD: Because I had already given them another one of my cult classics, “Some Times We Cry,” and me being the type of artist I am, I like to keep things moving with other ventures.

BB: Are you and house mogul Rocky Jones close?

HD: Yeah, me and Rocky Jones have had a close relationship since we did “Donnie” back in 1986.

BB: I heard through the grapevine that you were close friends with Curtis “Move Your Body” McClane?

HD: I have been friends with Curtis for over 30 years. I got involved with him when working with Marshall Jefferson on the “Move Your Body” single. We have a single coming out together on DJ International, and it is smoking.

BB: Ronnie Mcpherson told me about the story you told him of how “Donnie” came about; his version was so funny. Can you elaborate on that story?

HD: Donnie was an actual female; she was fine as hell; I met her at Illinois State University. I was a Sigma; she was a Zeta. I messed around and fell in love with her. However, once Donnie found out that I wasn’t ready to commit, she started dating a member of Omega Psi Psi; it hurt me so bad I had to write a song.

BB: Do you play any instruments or DJ?

HD: I play percussions and peck on piano, but I’m better at programming, and to answer your question, I can DJ a little bit.

BB: Do you think you will ever retire from house music?

HD: The only way that will happen is to pull the house from my cold dead hands in a casket. Because I consider myself one of the founders of house music, I would never give up something as precious as house music.

BB: Is “Some Times We Cry” going to be on the “ANTIDOTE” record?

HD: Currently, it’s on the Jack Master 7 album, which DJ International is releasing. But will be monitoring the marketing of the single, but who knows, maybe a remix.

BB: How do you balance music and life?

HD: I try to balance music and life equally because, in my world, music is the way I view life. That’s where music is my canvas evolve then I paint a picture for my fans to envision.

BB:Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?

HD: I’m an outdoorsman. I like camping, fishing, and analyzing women; that’s my real hobby, Lol!

BB: What is it about creating music that keeps you going?

HD: It makes me excited; I always try to make every song a cut. I want to go down in the house history as a pioneer, the first person to put spoken word into house music.

BB: Well, this concludes our interview; after interviewing you, I too await the release of the “The Antidote” record. I wish you the best of luck!

HD: Thanks for having me.

Shaeden Madi’s Debut Single Releasing Early This Month!

Shaeden Madi has been called many things, but afraid has never been one of them. Growing up between Jordan and the United States, Shaeden knows the life of an outsider and the power of forming your own identity.

A strict Muslim upbringing isn’t where most people incubate their creativity. Tradition often comes with innovation, however Shaeden’s love of her Middle Eastern roots were often in conflict with the escapism she found in the bright pop music of Western superstars like Britney Spears, Madonna and Whitney Houston—“records of artist that were inspiring, but could never be like”. This is what Shaeden calls her “Paradox.”

After studying fashion at AIU in London, Shaeden started out pursuing a career in line with her education. With a burning desire to chase her musical passions. After A couple of years and moving between different continents her hunger for her dream became stronger than a career that no longer served her.

She began working with renowned vocal coaches RAab Stevenson (Kimad Productions) and Jason Catron (The Vocal Lab) to polish her vocals and joined one of the leading networks in Central Europe called VIRTUE Clan later in 2020. As many of us that year, Shaeden channeled the uncertainty of 2020 focusing on her true passion and got into the studio with Nashville based producers KWIL and Haram Beats. Combining both the traditional influences of her upbringing with the secular music she finds inspiration in. Shaeden has created her musical universe where Middle Eastern instrumentation meets Western pop melodies and hard-hitting 808s.

This week, Shaeden is releasing “Introducing Shaeden Madi” January 10,2022 followed by a January 14, 2022 release of her dabka dance track “EL Salam Alaikum”

Shaeden will be sharing her dream with the world with hopes that her music will teach, inspire, and empower—especially those who don’t know how to find the strength to be who they truly are. By being her most authentic self, she believes her creativity can help others break down barriers, overcome oppression and judgment, and embrace their truest potential. Shaeden isn’t backing down from owning her creative freedom, no matter how taboo her music may be..Is the world ready?

STAVROS ZACHARIAS,THE INDEPENDENT ARTIST FROM TUNECORE

tavros Zacharias, the independent artist from Tunecore.
His name is Stavros Zacharias and he is a Greek musician producer.
He is independent from Tunecore and within 24 hours his first album of 2022 had 100.000
trends in real time.
Also, many of his songs were no1 in ITunes for several weeks.
Good evening Stavros!
1.Let us know how an independent artist from Tunecore makes such huge steps in the music
industry?
– Good evening and thank you so much for your interest.
World wide record companies in recent years are not like the ones of the past and that fact was
good for me.
With Tunecore you have the opportunity to work exactly like a record company would, and
sometimes even better since you don’t have to deal with many artists but only yourself.
2. What is that one thing according to you, that made you stand out of the crowd in front of all
these other artists, having your own audience?
– Well, I could easily say that I got quite lucky in my life, since I had the chance to meet a really
important person with gold and platinum records. A Sony artist is the Giorgos alkaios , who taught me to have
patience, scheduling and to work hard when it comes to music.

3.Tell us a few words about the “Ragnarök” album.
– “Ragnarök is an album that brings us back to a Vikings Era and Scandinavian mythology.
It’s an album that took me almost a year to complete.
4.Let us know about your future steps.
-Well, I have five more albums ready with different types of music. So, after “Ragnarök” is put
into action, I will go on with the release of those. Meanwhile, I’m in contact with many
companies about having a collaboration.
5. How did the pandemic affect your life?
-I could say I’m with the lucky ones since the pandemic didn’t really change my way of living. On
the other hand, I could say that the pandemic functioned as a booster for me since I had plenty
of time to work on my projects.
It’s an accepted fact that those times are hard for many people and we all need patience and
strength to keep up with the pandemic.
Thanks a lot. We wish you lots of luck in everything you do!
– Thank you and may we all have a creative year!
