New Partnership Includes Youth Music Releases Through Hip Hop For Change, Inc.
Bay Area rapper, educator, and activist UnLearn The World is set to drop his highly anticipated album Midnight Crysis this fall, marking his official debut under Roc Nation Distribution. The groundbreaking partnership amplifies his voice as an independent artist rooted in culture and consciousness while directly investing in the next generation of Hip Hop creators.
A respected force in underground rap, UnLearn has spent years blending razor-sharp lyricism with revolutionary spirit, moving seamlessly between classrooms and festival stages. Midnight
Crysis is his sonic manifesto; urgent, introspective, and unflinchingly relevant to the spiritual and societal crises shaping today’s social and political landscape.
“This is about creating a sustainable pathway for independent artistry, ownership, and youth empowerment,” says UnLearn.
Through his nonprofit Hip Hop For Change, Inc., UnLearn will use this Roc Nation partnership to launch a first-of-its-kind mentorship and distribution pipeline for young artists of color. Future releases will include projects from students in the program, pairing industry-level resources with grassroots education and artist development that emphasizes personal growth and wellness.

“Our youth are not just future consumers of culture, they are its creators,” UnLearn emphasizes.
The deal preserves his full ownership of masters, creative control, and transparency in royalties and listener analytics, ensuring the partnership stays true to his independent ethos.
Midnight Crysis is slated to drop this fall, followed by tour dates and community events. The album comprises a stellar list of well known Hip Hop luminaries as well as emerging talent from across 3 continents, North America, Europe and Africa. UnLearn himself has reached world class status, touring internationally with the likes of Gza from Wu Tang Clan and Mobb Deep, as well as providing lectures on Hip Hop history and education in countries like El Salvador and Dubai. His most recent album “The God That Sins” features collaborations with Ghostface Killah, Papoose and Benny The Butcher as well as Ab-Soul.
A portion of proceeds from the new album will support youth music programs at Hip Hop For Change, Inc.
